A significant coin displaying noticeably choice features along with a surprising amount of amber-tinged mint brilliance that clings to the devices. The fields are mostly free of any apparent imperfections, save for a few scattered ticks or haymarks and the obverse motif shows a bit of softness, although the details become increasingly bolder as they reach the peripheries. From a fleeting, four-year series this particular date is actually scarcer in a select Mint State classification than its 1726 counterpart, which is further confirmed by the NGC census report. An altogether massive gold issue, well-preserved, and with superior eye appeal.
