Danish Colony - Christian IX gold 10 Daler (50 Francs) 1904 (h)-GJP MS64 NGC, KM73. Featuring the stately portrait of Christian IX along with an intricately-styled allegorical reverse motif, this beautiful one-year type asserts a small mintage of just 2,005 pieces. Of those that have been offered in the marketplace, many appear to be, at best, in the low stages of Mint State. Even so, those examples have brought significant premiums in relation to their grade.
