Louis-Napoleon Proof 5 Francs 1852-A PR63 NGC, Paris mint, KM773.1, Dav-94. "Barre" signature. Deep blue iridescent tone under wholly natural surfaces. Quite a tremendous strike, one can almost feel the square edges through the plastic encapsulation. A few scattered marks are noted in the fields and along the rim, though they do not detract at all from the eye appeal.
