Frankfurt. Free City Proof 2 Taler 1866 PR64 Cameo NGC, KM365. An impressive blast white rare Proof issue of this date. We have only sold two other examples of this type in proof in recent memory. A few toning spots in the obverse fields but those are mostly obscured by the highly reflective surfaces, while the eye is drawn towards the gorgeously designed and frosted bust of Francofordia. An all around beautiful coin.
