Anne gold "Peace of Utrecht" Medal 1713 MS61 NGC, Royal mint, Eimer-460, MI-400/257. 35mm/23gms. By J. Croker, A highly skilled production, fully struck and preserved in a significantly finer state than is typical, with most survivors displaying highpoint wear, some form of noteworthy damage or a combination thereof. The present example however, escaping those grade-liming factors, remains fully bright in the fields and no marks of significance impede the surfaces. As is the case with nearly all medals of this period, light handling is present, but it has little visual impact on the overall appearance. The Peace of Utrecht was established by a series of treaties signed by countries such as Great Britain, France, Spain and Portugal in the Dutch city of Utrecht. These treaties effectively ended the War of Spanish Succession.
