Bombay Presidency. British Colony copper Pattern Mohur 1828 MS63 Brown NGC, KM-Pn18, Prid-336. Beautiful russet-brown patina with very clean surfaces. This proposed mohur design is quite a rare pattern; we have been able to locate only half a dozen auction records for this type from the last decade. The last example we sold was in April, 2014, where a PCGS MS63 Brown specimen hammered at $5,500. An overall lovely piece.
