Nicholas I gold Proof 100 Perpera 1910 PR61 Cameo NGC, KM12, Fr-1. A few scattered marks, with one more noticeable one just before the face of Nicholas I that serves as an easy pedigree identifier. A scarce, one-year type that had a supposed total proof striking run of just 25 pieces. Even the circulation strike production was limited to just 301 pieces, meaning that this is a rare coin in any finish, and extremely rare in proof. It has been a couple of years since we last offered one of these for sale, so we expect heated competition for this example.
