USA Administration 50 Centavos 1909-S MS66+ PCGS, San Francisco mint, KM171. The finest certified example for this date at either PCGS or NGC, and justifiable so, with full swirling luster over minimally marked surfaces and a highly attractive arrangement of mostly blue tone that rings the obverse centers and nearly blankets the reverse. For accuracy's sake, we note a trifle of original planchet striations that remain faintly visible in the obverse fields. A coin that is ideally suited for the registry set collector who's competing for a "finest known" set.
