Sigismund III Vasa 1/2 Taler 1632 AU55 NGC, Issued during the last year of the reign of Sigismund II Vasa, Gumoski-1132, unrecorded in Kopicki, Kurpiewski-1558. Obv. Crowned, and armored, half-length portrait of the King with sword and orb. Rev. Crowned arms, dividing date, 16-32, and initials I-I (Jakub Jacobson), with encircling chain of the Order of the Golden Fleece. Well struck, for the issue, with full legends. There is a noticeable edge flaw at 2:00. This issue was missing from all of the past great Polish collections. It is Unique, as the only known example, and this is only the second time it has appeared in the numismatic market. The first appearance was in Antykwariat Numizmatyczny, Auction 2, May 2011 Lot 67.
