Alexander I Polupoltinnik (1/4 Rouble) 1804 CПБ-ФГ MS64 NGC, St. Petersburg Mint, Bitkin-55 (R), KM-C121. Obv. Crowned double-headed Imperial eagle, in circle, with date and value. Rev. Crowned four-line inscription, in wreath. Fully lustrous, with mostly original mint-silver color and scattered richer gray patina, mostly around the obverse periphery. The strike is nice for the type and the surfaces free of notable flaws. Only two pieces of this issue have been certified in Mint State by both NGC, and PCGS, with both in MS64, and none finer. Very rare in this near-Gem condition and we doubt you will see a finer example.
