Republic 6 Pence 1894 MS66 PCGS, KM4. Entirely original and exceptionally preserved for the issue, with captivating russet-gold highlights at the far edges of both sides that only enter the centers in delicate wisps. Despite the tone, the luster remains unimpeded, and its full dazzling nature captivates the eye. Further close inspection confirms a strike that is intricately defined through the obverse portrait, as well as the reverse wreath; qualities befitting a coin of this Gem caliber. A scarce early date of this President Kruger type, and an extreme rarity in the present condition, with possible "finest known" status, as no finer coins have been seen at either grading service, and only one equal is certified by NGC. Thusly, a great opportunity for the collector of this highly-sought series.
