Ferdinand VII gold 320 Reales 1822 M-SR AU55 NGC, Madrid mint, KM566, Onza-1243. A well preserved coin with very slight high-point friction evidence, fresh lustrous surfaces and the expected scattered handling marks for the designation. The first date of this very elusive short-lived issue struck to the previous standard of 8 Escudos but with the denomination expressed in Reales de Vellon (40 Reales de Vellon were equivalent to 1 Escudo). Very scarce in any grade, usually found in lower condition and eminently collectible in this engaging preservation.
Estimate: 4000-6000 USD
