Rama V gold 8 Baht ND (1894) MS62 NGC, KM-Y15.1, Fr-26b. A choice representative of the type, this selection presents highly-illustrative design motifs featuring an elephant within a chakra and a stylized crown supported by two umbrellas. Well-struck devices are noticeably bold for the issue and honey-tinged, golden surfaces exhibit isolated moments of reddish tone. Evidence of light handling, while within the confines of the assigned grade, most-likely precludes a finer designation. Even so, this is an altogether pleasing example that is highly-coveted at all levels of Mint-State.
