HMS Isis (5,600 tons) was an Eclipse class protected cruiser launched in 1896. Pte. Donker ended his career as a bugler in the Royal Marines when he was discharged in February 1907. He re-enlisted in the 18th Battalion King's Royal Rifle Corps and was killed in action 1 November 1918 in Flanders, ten days before the Armistice.
Donker was originally from Bethnal Green, London. His remaining WWI entitlement is not present.
