(S/M#C294-225) Specimen serial numbers, overprints and punch cancels at the signature panels. A rare 1939 series which shows all notes featuring a portrait of Liao Chung-kai and produced by the American Bank Note Company. This 10 Yuan denomination was the highest for the series and the first we have handled in any form. Seen in a larger format size than the One and Five Yuan notes and enjoying the same multi-color under-prints and guilloche. Original paper is mentioned throughout and just a sheet fold confined within the top margin is mentioned. PMG Choice Uncirculated 63 EPQ.
