(S/M#Y13-) Tientsin. All Tientsin branch notes from the Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation are scarce and this 1920 issue was the final installment with just these Five Dollar notes produced. The design carried over from the 1907 series with detailed vignettes at top center with rural scene, city gate and river at left, center and right, respectively. Attractive signatures at Accountant and Agent titles. Sensational quality and certainly a piece that makes serious claims to an Extremely Fine grade. PMG Choice Very Fine 35.
