Japanese serial and block numbers. An extremely challenging nineteenth century offering and the first of the catalog number we have handled. The second highest denomination for this Convertible Silver Note issue outside of the highly rare 100 Yen note from this series. A larger format size and seen with a detailed vignette of Wakeno Kiyomaro at right. Just some well executed repairs but overall quite appealing for the grade. PMG Very Fine 25 Net. Repaired.
