THAILAND PATTERNS. 2 Baht Struck in Copper with Plain Edge & Coin Alignment, ND (1868). Rama V, Phra Maha Chulalonkorn (1868-1910). NGC PROOF-58 BN.
23.8 gms. KM-Pn30; K&M-pl. F32. White elephant within nine-bladed Chakra, encircled by sixteen stars denoting denomination; Reverse: Royal seal of King Rama V, a Thai coronet flanked by two umbrellas. VERY RARE. Only piece grade by NGC with none seen at PCGS. Pleasing milk chocolate hues, with just enough cabinet friction to land it in the almost uncirculated grade. Great strike, sharp rims, and overall impressive look. NGC PROOF-58 BN.
