THAILAND PATTERNS. Baht Struck in Silver with Plain Edge & Medal Alignment, ND (1868). Rama V, Phra Maha Chulalonkorn (1868-1910). NGC PROOF-63 CAMEO.
14.9 gms. KM-Pn27; K&M-pl. F32. White elephant within nine-bladed Chakra, encircled by eight stars denoting denomination; Reverse: Royal seal of King Rama V, a Thai coronet flanked by two umbrellas. RARE. The cameo designation is the big attraction here, which sets the piece apart from nearly all other contemporary Siamese pattern coins. Virtually black and white contrast between the fields and frosty devices with only a few inconsequential marks in the reverse fields preventing a higher grade. A real prize of a coin. NGC PROOF-63 CAMEO.

Estimate: $3000.00- $4000.00
