THAILAND PATTERNS. Baht Struck in White Metal with Plain Edge & Medal Alignment, ND (1868). Rama V, Phra Maha Chulalonkorn (1868-1910). NGC PROOF-62.
8.3 gms. cf.KM-Pn27; cf.K&M-pl. F32. White elephant within nine-bladed Chakra, encircled by eight stars denoting denomination; Reverse: Royal seal of King Rama V, a Thai coronet flanked by two umbrellas. RARE. A couple hits to the elephants shoulder and mid-section define the grade, with nearly mark-free surfaces elsewhere. Good color overall and without spots or corrosion in spite of the reactive metal it was struck in. The coin remains in a remarkable state of preservation all things considered. NGC PROOF-62.
