THAILAND PATTERNS. 1/2 Baht Struck in Copper with Reeded Edge & Medal Alignment, ND (1868). Rama V, Phra Maha Chulalonkorn (1868-1910). NGC PROOF-64 RB.
6.6 gms. KM-Pn25; cf.K&M-pl. F32. White elephant within nine-bladed Chakra, encircled by four stars denoting denomination; Reverse: Royal seal of King Rama V, a Thai coronet flanked by two umbrellas. RARE. Mostly orange reverse with a shower of bright magenta and plum tone that becomes more concentrated at the periphery. The fields are highly reflective with the mirror-like qualities further enhancing the coins overall appearance. A coin that stands out from its peers. NGC PROOF-64 RB.
