THAILAND PATTERNS. 1/4 Baht Struck in Copper with Plain Edge & Coin Alignment, ND (1868). Rama V, Phra Maha Chulalonkorn (1868-1910). NGC PROOF-63 BN.
2.9 gms. KM-Pn23; cf.K&M-pl. F32. White elephant within nine-bladed Chakra, encircled by two stars denoting denomination; Reverse: Royal seal of King Rama V, a Thai coronet flanked by two umbrellas. RARE. Premium quality for the assigned grade, with deep coffee bean brown coloration and a great strike. Some minor evidence of contact under high magnification along the obverse beaded edge at 6 o'clock delineates the grade. NGC PROOF-63 BN.
