THAILAND PATTERNS. 1/8 Baht Struck in Copper with Reeded Edge & Medal Alignment, ND (1868). Rama V, Phra Maha Chulalonkorn (1868-1910). NGC PROOF-63 BN.
1.9 gms. KM-Pn21; cf.K&M-pl. F32. White elephant within nine-bladed Chakra, star above Chakra denoting denomination; Reverse: Royal seal of King Rama V, a Thai coronet flanked by two umbrellas. RARE. Brown, but with an absolutely spectacular intense blue, red and purple sheen on both sides. The intensity of the coloration on the piece is simply astonishing, it is hard to imagine a more attractive example than what is seen here. NGC PROOF-63 BN.
