CHINA. State of Qi. Three Character Knife Money, Warring States Period (ca. 400-220 B.C.).
45.46 gms. H-4.6o; Jen-26; FD-351. "Qi Fa Hua" (Qi legal money); Reverse: "Hua". Shows signs of careful tooling which has left the characters on the blade very bold and legible. The ring at the base shows a casting shift indicating the molds were not exactly matched or it was moved before completely setting. Some areas of forest green patina. VERY FINE.
Estimate: $1000.00- $1500.00
