CHINA. Sichuan Piaoding. Provincial Certified Ingots. 9.5 Tael Salt Tax Ingot, Year 34 (1908).
353.91 gms. BMC-Class XL Group A. "Yan Ku" (Salt storehouse), this indicates the ingot was used by the treasury of the Salt Affairs and Official Transportation Bureau. "San Shi Si Nian" (34th year). "Luo Yu Chuan Heng" (Luo, Yuchuanheng silver shop). An attractive ingot with nice peripheral ripple pattern and lovely toning with delicate azure hues in the protected areas. Stamps somewhat lightly applied but all are legible. VERY FINE.
