CHINA. Order of the Resplendent Banner Fifth Class Commander Badge, ND (Instituted 1935).
Barac-433; Werlich-235; Vernon-54; Li-pg. 114. Cased set with Badge, its Cravat and the Tunic Ribbon. Choice About Uncirculated, but with some enamel damage. The Badge measures 62.1 mm excluding its elongate suspension, and is composed of an eight pointed faceted silver plaque upon which is mounted an eight pointed, gold rimmed white enamel star. The central medallion is blue with a yellow banner and white clouds. The reverse has two curved inscription panels, a single screw-back rivet, and the number 3106 stamped near the bottom. There is significant enamel loss to the blue enamel of the central medallion, not noticeable upon casual inspection. The cravat is blue, yellow and red watered silk, 35 x 600 mm, with a snap fastener at the back. The 100 x 160 mm case bears a chrysanthemum crest on the cover and is made of maroon leather with gold velour and white satin interior. CHOICE ALMOST UNCIRCULATED.
