81 mm (excluding loop and hangers). Barac-479; Li-pg.155. A RARE Nanking Puppet Government issue in gilt brass and enamels. Two eight-pointed multi-rayed star plaques surmounted by two enameled central discs. The larger one blue with a ring of 9 white clouds and the other with nine gold stars on a red enamel field. Reverse blank except for a rectangular plaque with four ancient script characters. The suspension ring supports star and cloud hangers. Much of the original gilding has been lost through normal polishing. VERY FINE.
