CHINA. Fengtien. 50 Cents, Year 25 (1899). PCGS AU-55 Secure Holder.
L&M-479; Kann-249a; Y-86; Wenchao-pg. 485#779. Very interesting error which reads Year 25 on the obverse in Chinese and Year 24 on the reverse in Manchu. The error most likely occurred when a left over reverse die from the previous year was mistakenly reused. An interesting and RARE mule. Sharply struck, toned and very attractive.
