K-921; KM-PnA9; Wenchao-pg. 283#393 (rarity five stars); Shanghai Museum-Mr. Shi Jiagan's collection-pg. 47#240; Sun-I-7-06. Silver. RARE. Other than what can be ascertained from the inscription, very little is known about this issue. Some authorities believe it to be a pattern, while others speculate that it may be a failed attempt at a circulation issue that was met with disfavor and mainly melted. Whichever the case, it is clear that it is seldom encountered and should be considered VERY RARE. Dark toned and quite attractive. NGC EF-45.
