CHINA. Taiwan. 7.2 Candareens (10 Cents), ND (1893-94). NGC Good Details--Reverse Damage.
L&M-327; K-136; Y-247.2; WS-1008. RARE type. Error in English legend with inverted "V" in place of "A" throughout. Nearly impossible to find Taiwanese issue, and much in demand. Reverse damage does not appear to have been intentional, but rather the result of the vagaries of extensive wear combined with a natural planchet defect. The obverse is quite pleasant for the assigned grade with remaining details all through the dragon. A very presentable example of the coin in spite of the details grade. NGC Good Details--Reverse Damage.
Estimate: $100.00- $150.00
