CHINA. Cash Coinage, ca. 1662-1912.
Approximately 130 pieces in lot. A varied lot of 1, 10 and 20 Cash with about half being machine struck from the late Qing through Republican periods, the balance being square-hole cash coins from the middle to late Qing Dynasty. Includes both provincial and centrally minted pieces of copper and brass. The cast pieces are fairly decent with only a small number being chipped, holed or excessively circulated. The machine struck 10 and 20 Cash are rather heavily circulated and have more surface issues arising therefrom. A good lot for study and comparison. Retail value of about $300. Closer inspection is recommended. SOLD AS IS/NO RETURNS. GOOD-VERY FINE.
Estimate: $125.00- $175.00
