cf.Bruce-MB17. Struck for the 6th International Coin Exposition in Hong Kong. Countermarked by third party with the Soviet sickle and hammer overlaid with the universal "no" symbol. Reverse has the same symbol incused with the message "CHINA FREEDOM DOLLAR. SUPPORT THE FEDERATION. SAVE THE STUDENTS." surrounding it. A very interesting political piece possibly referring the Tiananmen Square protests of 1989 commonly known as the June Fourth Incident. Includes original issued display case with certificate of authenticity #0001361. GEM BRILLIANT PROOF.
