MOESIA INFERIOR, Marcianopolis. Macrinus, with Diadumenian as Caesar. AD 217-218. Æ Pentassarion (26mm, 11.84 g, 6h). Pontianus, legatus consularis. Bare head of Diadumenian and laureate head of Macrinus facing one another / Juno standing left, holding scepter and sacrificing with patera over lighted and garlanded altar to left; Є (mark of value) to right. Cf. H&J, Marcianopolis 6.24.2; cf. Varbanov 1185. VF, brown surfaces, flan crack. Very rare.
