ELECTROTYPE, Greco-Baktrian Kingdom. Demetrios I Aniketos. Circa 200-185 BC. "AR Tetradrachm" (31mm, 19.13 g, 12h). British Museum electrotype by Robert Ready (marked RR on edge). Diademed and draped bust right, wearing elephant skin headdress / Herakles standing facing, crowning himself, holding club and lion skin; monograms or letters to inner left and right. Head, Guide, Period V.A., 23. For prototype, cf. Bopearachchi 1H (ancient imitation). As made, toned.

An interesting electrotype, as the original with its crude style is an ancient imitation.
