SZECHUAN: Kuang Hsu, 1875-1908, AR 10 tael sycee (357g), year 6 (1880), Cribb-class XLIII, dixingding type provincial mound silver ingot, juanshu (deposit) at right, liù nián jiàng zhanghéngyì (6th year, silversmith Zhang Hengyi) at right, VF, ex Wéiduolìya Collection. A similar specimen of (silversmith) Zhang Hengyi silver ingot issued in the 26th year of Kuang Hsu in Yongchuan County, Sichuan Province, sold in a Chinese Auction for RMB 36,800 in 2012. The year is likely a regnal year for Emperor Kuang Hsu as similar ingots of this silversmith are known dated during his reign.
