ALWAR:LOT of 12 rupees in the name of Shah Alam II, type KM-10: year 24, 27, 28, 30, 32, 33, 35 (2 pcs.), 37, 40, 41 and 45, almost all in VF or better condition, excellent starter's lot, hard to duplicate today, retail value $300, lot of 12 pieces, ex Paul Stevens Collection. Most of these pieces have one or more testmarks and banker's stamps on the edge, a common practice amongst the merchants of Alwar State. Some pieces may have up to 8 or 10 such marks.
