MADRAS PRESIDENCY: AE medal, 1939, boxing medal for the Madras District Tournament, date hand engraved, medal by F. Phillips, VF to EF, ex Wéiduolìya Collection. Obverse is the same as a Sports Medal 1st Battalion, King's Own Royal Regiment Boxing Medal in the King's Own Royal Regiment Museum in Lancaster. Phillips was a Medallist & Silversmith in Aldershot, Hampshire, England which is known as the "Home of the British Army."
