CHILE: Republic, brass 8 escudo pattern, ND, KM-TSx, trial strike of the obverse on KM-PnA4, struck by the Paris company Trelon, Weldon et Weil, which was founded in 1844, probably intended for the silver 8 reales rather than the smaller 8 escudos, judging by its diameter, NGC graded AU55, RRR. Produced no earlier than 1844.
