Devolved head of Apollo right / Devoloved biga right, with charioteer 'flying' above; spiral ornament below charioteer, cross of pellets to right, schematic body of horse ("hippocamp") right below. D&T S 189 A; Depeyrot, NC VI, 2; CCCBM II 156. VF, toned, some porosity, light scuffs and marks, flan a little ragged, minor surface crack on reverse. Rare.
