Nero. AD 54-68. Æ "Cut" Sestertius (28mm, 17.59 g, 6h). Lugdunum (Lyon) mint(?). Struck circa AD 66. Laureate head right, [globe at point of bust] / Roma seated left on cuirass, holding crowning Victory and parazonium; [shields to right]. Cf. RIC I 516; cf. WCN 442. VF, dark brown patina, the flan cut with numerous deep scratches.

This Nero sestertius was cut almost in half in antiquity, and then defaced with numerous deep scratches. Possibly an example of damnatio memoriae?
