Diademed head of Perseus right, with close beard / BAΣI-ΛEΩΣ ΠEP-ΣEΩΣ, eagle standing right on thunderbolt; Φ above, AY (mintmaster's) monogram to right, AN monogram below; all within oak wreath; below, plow right. Mamroth, Philip 24. An apparently rare variety with these controls, missing from most collections. Superb strike and metal quality! NGC Choice AU 5/5 - 3/5.
