PTOLEMAIC EGYPT. Arsinoe II, deified wife of Ptolemy II (died ca. 270 BC). AR decadrachm (38mm, 32.48 gm, 12h). Alexandria, ca. 253/2-246 BC. Obv: Veiled head of Arsinoe II right, wearing diadem, stephane and ram's horn, HH behind / ΑΡΣΙΝΟΗΣ ΦΙΛΑΔΕΛΦΟΥ, double cornucopia bound with royal diadem. Svoronos 942. Troxell Group 3. Badly corroded and tooled on obverse. NGC (photo certificate) VF 5/5 - 1/5, tooling.
