PTOLEMAIC EGYPT. Cleopatra VII (51-30 BC). Æ 40 drachmae (21mm, 9.08 gm, 12h). Alexandria, ca. 50-40 BC. Diademed and draped bust of Cleopatra VII right / ΚΛΕOΠΑΤΡΑΣ ΒΑΣΙΛΙΣΣΗΣ, eagle standing left on thunderbolt, cornucopia before; in right field, M. Svoronos 1872. SNG Copenhagen 422-4. Dark green-brown patina with some earthen deposits. Patina somewhat enhanced, otherwise a decent specimen with no sign of tooling. Choice Very Fine.
