Pedro II gold 4000 Reis 1700/699-(R) XF Details (Removed from Jewelry) NGC, Rio de Janeiro mint, KM98 (unlisted overdate), cf. Russo-032D (unlisted overdate ). Probably removed from a ring yet still reasonably detailed. This unlisted overdate is clearly apparent and apparently a tad scarcer than the plain date variety. An affordable example of this scarce three-year type, quite collectible despite the noted defects.
