Republic of China. Sun Yat-sen Dollar ND (1912) MS63 PCGS, L&M-48, KM-Y318, Kann-600. MEMENTO, with high 5-pointed stars. Fully lustrous, with a hint of golden patina and slight softness in the center of the reverse. A nice Mint State example with only a few minor imperfections. We have previously listed this type as both 1912 and 1928 due to a lack of clear consensus on its actual date of mintage. In this instance, we have elected to go with Kann's date of 1912, which is generally more widely used than the L&M attribution of 1928.
