Charles II gold Posthumous Cob 2 Escudos ND (1714-16) MS63 NGC, Santa Fe mint, KM14.2, Cal-Tipo 4. Choice Mint State with strong mint luster. Struck on a reduced planchet yet essentially full weight (6.7 grams) and with the last digit of the king's name visible to the left of the shield on the obverse. A very scarce technical designation for this crude issue, quite desirable as such.
