Haile Selassie gold Werk EE1923 (1930-31) UNC Details (Excessive Surface Hairlines) NGC, KM21. A scarce one-year gold type featuring the bust of Haile Salassie and St. George slaying the dragon, with luminous golden coloration and excessive hairlines within the open areas. Despite the details assignment; however, Mint-State definition is readily apparent across the devices, and as a whole, the coin is quite lovely. Typically encountered with hairlines or other problems, and as such, this specimen is still very collectible.
Estimate: 1000-1500 USD
