Wurttemberg. Karl I 2 Taler 1871 MS63 NGC, KM618. A choice specimen struck to commemorate the restoration of Ulm Cathedral, with a pewter-colored base that gives way to amber luster within the protected areas and darker toning spots that dapple the surfaces. Upon rotation, the fields illuminate with unmistakable flash, giving off properties of a Proof striking. The design elements, particularly the reverse motif, are intricately styled and other than light wisps in the open areas, the overall nature of this broad selection is absolutely alluring.
