British Outpost - George III bronzed-copper Proof Pattern Tackoe 1796 PR64 Brown NGC, Soho mint, KM-Pn1, Vice-9B. Stunningly bronzed with ultimate reflectivity for an issue in this metal and a hammered strike that renders the design in maximum clarity. If not for a single wispy graze in the field to the right of the elephant and castle, a coin that almost certainly would have graded several points finer. As it is, beautiful, rare and undoubtedly an item of high desire for collectors of African type.
