Charles II 1/2 Crown 1683 MS62 NGC, KM483.1, ESC-490, S-3367. Fourth bust, "Tricesimo Quinto" edge. An absolutely superb offering with evenly-toned, medium-gray surfaces and devices that express strong, pleasing detail, other than a small area of weakness noted on both the obverse and reverse. Equally noteworthy are the relatively clear fields which are free of blemishes and present only minor instances of haymarking. An incredibly well-preserved example of this issue, currently tied with only one other example in this top grade.
